Paramus, New Jersey (August 29, 2010) – Argentina’s Andres Romero was having a horrible final day at The Barclays, but surged with birdies on four of his last five holes – including a stunning 42-foot birdie putt on the final hole – to move from No. 115 to No. 100 in the FedExCup standings. Such an outstanding effort earned him the last spot in next week’s Deutsche Bank Championship. His five-hole charge came immediately after double bogeys on Nos. 12 and 13.
